Rails is an experimental, retro, outline display typeface designed by Superfried. Rails is available in four styles: display, diaplay solid, broken and broken solid. As the name suggests they are constructed from parallel tracks with the latter version featuring distinct breaks for added impact. Combination of the two results in clean, flowing type with sudden and unexpected moments of disruption. Rails has been featured in Computer Arts magazine, on North East, consists of 266 glyphs and is available for purchase at Hype for Type, MyFonts and You Work for Them.
